Yes, I decided to get this done! I am installing a new 2.5" Suspension Lift kit to clear my 31" tires before it snows.

As a member of both the Vermont Jeep Association, and The Jeepforum.com group, I was able to take advantage of the excellent pricing discount for the new 2.5" YJ Lift Kit from Rough Country, and their representitive Ryan.

His PM to me:
"I can ship that kit to you with the upgraded shocks, and the boots for $478 complete.
Yes it does have the shims to correct rear pinion angle and as for the warranty on the springs it is a lifetime."

I will be installing this on Saturday morning with my son, and will be taking many photos of the process to document the installation procedure for them and you.

I already run Interco Traxis 31x10.5x15 tires on MT Aluminum Wheels, so the extra space in the fender wells will be a welcome end result. At present I am experiencing "sag", which needs to be fixed now!

Once installed, i will be adding the quick disconnect steering stablizer, and front and rear diff armor, and that should do it for now.

Keep watching this thread for more pictures and instructions as I move forward on this project. I will post as many as I can for your enjoyment starting on Monday.

Rock on. Are your drive shafts OK with that much lift? I dunno exactly what the lift limit is for YJs before you need longer or CV joint shafts, but I was under the impression that it wasn't much.

Is that Strongbad in your avatar?

I too thought it looked like strongbad at a glance, but I don't know for sure.
